Snow postpones Braves Caravan event; go to for weather updates

By David O'Brien

The Braves’ scheduled Caravan event Tuesday afternoon at the Town Center at Cobb was postponed due to snow.  There has been no word on if or when it will be rescheduled, but the team referred to it as a postponement rather than a cancellation.

To keep up with weather-related updates on traffic, closings and everything else, go to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution home page at

By the time this stadium is built and ready for the use, the stinking Braves will be in last place, all its good young talent gone to other teams as free agents or dumped in trades because the Braves WILL NOT pay them. Simple as that. There is no talent in the farm system to replace all these young guys they will lose in the next 3-4 years or so. A google of the top farm systems of 2013 shows the sorry shape the Braves are in for the future. #26 out of 30 systems! Here is the chart. ESPN's Keith Law has a new chart coming out, but it is on the pay site. Marlins, Nats, Mets are in top 16. Only Phillies, at #24 are as bad as the Braves. So, a great new stadium and a class A or AA team on the field. Enjoy the 1970s-80s Braves again folks. Cause here they come!!!
